The Uluwatu temple is built on a 100 meter high cliff, overlooking the Indian Ocean. The temple is the masterpiece of Nirartha, a holy priest and architect of the 16th century. He chose this place as a temple to travel to God.
Here you will also witness the Kecak and Fire Dance show. The fire dance is performed around flaming torches. There is no music; only the voices of 70 male dancers accompany the show.
